How long have you been in your current role?
I have been in my current role since the position was introduced in March 2015 however, I have a strong front office background as I previously held the position of Front Office Manager at the hotel. I also worked with the housekeeping department for over a year.
What do you enjoy most about working in Club?
I truly enjoy the direct contact with the guests both through the pre-arrival communication as well as through my presence on the floor. Being able to contribute and participate in a guest’s celebration is also something that brings a big plus to this position.
What is your favourite Club amenity?
My favourite amenity is the macaroons platter – it is very popular with the ladies, as well as children and even gentlemen!
What is your favourite Club memory?
One of my best Club memories is when a Platinum guest walked in for the afternoon hors d’oeuvres with his family (last summer) - one of the majordomes who was working that day, bent down to take one of the children in his arms…the little boy was so happy to see him again! The exclusive aspect of the Club gives us all the chance to really get to know most of the guests, to be able to recognize the regular ones and connect with them as if they were family; we are genuinely happy to have them back.

I would like to personally thank the Le Centre Sheraton Montreal for going above and beyond to make our family's Spring Break memorable. Ms. Theberge (VIP and Club Services Manager) and Peter in Club lounge could not have been anymore generous or focused on making it a trip to remember. My wife, daughters and mother were treated like VIPs and that means a lot to me. The weather was quite bad and we had to spend lots of time indoors. The Club Lounge Team made it easy. The whole group in the Lounge should be commended.
When I am in Montreal, this is my home away from home. I must also continue to reinforce that Mr. Giguere the General Manager sets the tone for the facility and it does not go un noticed. All staff in the facility speak very highly of him and you can see that his leadership reflects on their level of pride and ownership to their work.
